jeepney music!
thinkin of my everyday urban life...aside from hearing the distinct rhythm of people,marching like ants as they walk from mall to mall, office to office, accompanied by their blending voices. also aside from hearing different engines or any engine like sound you can imagine...more interesting than this however, is the distinct music that i hear from the uniquely different jeepneys that i've come to know very well...i guess, given the fact that regardless of what music the jeepney driver put on, it's still a treat that adds to the experience of commuting...some people say "you are what u eat!" but for me this time is "YOU ARE WHAT YOU RIDE" the fact that the jeepney is a status symbol for our country will never change, and the fact that, just like a person, a jeepney reflects some kind of "personality" as shown by the music it plays. the streets now, for me, becomes one large music store where i can sample their wares four just 5 pesos and fifty centavos, and each jeepney is a listening booth where i can sit back and enjoy my trip. with this in mind, the saying that "it is not the destination, it's the journey which takes you there" really proves to be true...

like ko blog mong 'to... haha ayus... heto lang maidadagdag ko: mas maganda ang musika sa mga jeep kesa sa bus or fx. baket? kasi sa bus, palagi na lang nasa jologs na istasyon. yung mga jeepney eh maganda lagi ang pinapatugtog. hahaha!
hanep! sana di loang baduy ang tugtog sa ibang jeep. But true mas masaya talaga ang biyahe pag may musika. Mas masarap ang buhay na may musika!
